Abdullah Bryant: Simulation and Game development (SGD) deals with a lot of new technology. However, not only does it need technology but it needs art skills and communication skills. To make a movie you will need lots of skills including communication and art. The technology part will be used to actually film the movie.
Aaron Marshall: SGD is the practice of making video games, and it uses many practices and techniques that are used in film-making as well. Lots of directorial techniques are almost copied exactly in video games. From lighting cues to dynamic camera angles.
Isaiah Sconiers: Geomatics Technology can be used for setting up a movie set. Before a movie set can even be set up a surveyor team must go out and survey the land and calculate the elevation. Also Geomatics Technology can be used to have an inventory database for all of the movie equipment, refreshments and amount of things needed for that particular set.
Keileb Gutierrez: Welding. In the construction field there has sometimes been a more equal view of rights, but there also have been things that have created controversy. Sometimes workers will be of different races or different ages, and that has created stereotypes. Sometimes workers that are younger or of a minority race are given less privileges or they are seen as incapable of doing the job right.
